I always love the chemistry I get with the Wharton family! Somehow, even when there’s chaos, they seem to keep the energy positive. I don’t have to ask for forced smiles or get too crazy with my entertaining antics because they just feel natural in front of the camera, like I’m not even there (at least they do a good job of making it seem that way, anyway). It’s in those stolen moments where the magic happens.
Today, I had the opportunity to flex my lifestyle shooting wings! Any photographer who walks into a home where there are loads of windows, white walls and furniture, and a flood of light feels like they’ve walked through the gates of Heaven, LOL. The energy in the home was peaceful as well. A perfect little haven for Miss Isabel to make her home. Mom and Dad are thrilled with their little blessing and baby Isabel seems pretty ecstatic to be there with all her infectious smiles. Yes, she was full-blown smiling at 3 weeks! A session to remember for sure!
This mommy has been waiting for her little gift for quite some time. She called me very early on to make sure that I had an open spot for her. I LOVE clients that do that! Not only does it help us stay organized, but it makes me feel soooooo loved. As soon as she walked in through the door, you could feel how excited she is about her little man and her skin just glows! We shared a lot of laughs during our session and I just can’t wait to have our newborn session in early December!
These sweet sisters were so much fun to work with. Our session was nothing short of an adventure and they were such troopers. So were Mama and Madrinita, LOL! We were met with all kinds of obstacles including monster size mosquitos, very bold racoons, one very long hike, and horribly ominous gray skies! And what were we rewarded with? THIS!!!!! So beautiful! The models, the setting, the outfits and custom made headbands by Abuela: all perfect contributions to this picture perfect session!
When I first learned that a “Gianna” born only a day before my Gianna’s (Gigi) birthday would be visiting me, I braced myself, LOL. I was expecting the tornado that is my daughter. Instead, I was met with quite the opposite. This Gigi was the most content, easy-going baby I’ve had in a while. It didn’t take much to coax her back to sleep and I think I heard her cry once in the entire session. What a sweetie pie!
